Sophie Thomas is the late diagnosed AuDHD founder of The Growth Pod.
She lives in Dubai, with her husband, three children and 17 rescue animals. She’s an ex corporate strategist, who spent 20 years helping companies across the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the UK scale to become multibillion dollar business.
More recently, she’s held the positions of Chief IT officer, Human Resources Leader and Strategy & Projects Leader for PwC Middle East. Two years ago she left the corporate world to take a sabbatical so that she could better understand herself and her recent diagnosis, but ended up leaving completely to set up the Growth Pod, a business consultancy that helps passion led, purpose driven, female and neurodivergent entrepreneurs achieve their Big Hairy Audacious Goals (while having a beneficial impact on society!).
Having been late diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia in 2021, she’s a passionate advocate for neuro divergent business owners, and loves working with them to unlock their super powers and create businesses that enable them to thrive professionally, personally and financially (Just as Growth Pod has enabled that for her).
Sophie’s also excited about being able to help neurodivergent entrepreneurs grow businesses that help them to create careers, incomes and workplaces that accommodate their individual needs and that allow them to belong in the world, rather than force them to fit into corporate norms and environments.

What is the Growth Pod?
The Growth Pod was set up to help passion led, purpose driven, female and neurodivergent business owners to grow their business and achieve their Big Hairy Audacious Goals.
At Growth Pod we believe that when passion, purpose and creativity collide the beneficial outcome for society is immense – and we’re driven by helping our clients achieve impact. We’ve spent 20 years helping some of the world’s largest companies grow, but are now following our own passions, purpose and values to bring our expertise and toolset to small business owners to build strong foundations for growth and success.
Our values are: Enjoyment, Impact, Personal Development, Connection, Creativity and Self Care and we combine these with our deep expertise to help you develop business goals, strategies, financial and business plans as well as practical roadmaps to deliver them.
We coach, mentor and practically support you all of the way on your growth journey. We work on a 1-2-1 basis or in small group environments in person (in Dubai) or online (for the rest of the world). We also offer PAYG sessions, accountability groups and body doubling sessions for entrepreneurs who struggle to lift them selves out of the operational day to day when they need to think big.
We offer free consultations to understand the business challenges you face – anyone can sign up for a session. The link is on our Instagram page and on our website.

Want to help us make a difference?
We’re looking for businesses, organizations and companies who want to support and champion the important work that we do.
By supporting us, you really are giving us the opportunity to share stories that need to be heard, to deconstruct stereotypes and help us to give the next generation visibility.
Our collective stories have the power to bring about change.
But without community support, our podcast and the work that we do isn’t sustainable in the long term. We are AD free, without any funding or investment and rely solely on the support of our community members, champions and partners.
